The calendulas are grown in our own utility garden without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. About half of the mass of calendula facial soap is unbleached sea salt with mineral content, which helps the skin maintain its natural moisture balance. White kaolin clay gently cleanses the skin while exfoliating dead skin cells and excess sebum. The skin is left soft and clean.
Instructions for use: Wet your face and the soap thoroughly with warm water and lather. Apply the foam to your face with a gentle swirling motion. Be careful around your eyes. Rinse with warm water. You can also use a Konjac sponge or a facial washcloth.

Calendula flowers are blended into the soap mass and you can distinguish tiny pieces of calendula petals in the soap. Calendula is grown in our very own garden without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Calendula has been traditionally used in skincare and historically in folk medicine.
Minerals in the sea salt (including magnesium and potassium) cause osmotic pressure. This pressure forces water and skin nutrients to rise from the lower skin layers to the surface of the skin. Your skin remains moisturised and smooth.
Due to the soap's natural alkalinity, it effectively eliminates bacteria on its surface.
